Beltelecom summed up the results for the half-year
On 31 July, a meeting of the Board of Directors was held at Beltelecom to review the company’s performance for the first half-year of 2026. Kirill Zalessky, Minister of Communications and Informatization, took part in the discussion. Aliaksandr Kenda, Director General, presented a comprehensive analysis of all business operator.
The main result is that all key performance indicators of the company have been met!
Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky favourably evaluated performace of Beltelecom in the first half of the year. At the same time, he outlined a number of key objectives. Providing Internet access for the rural population remains among the most important areas.
“It’s necessary to work proactively with small settlemants and allotment associations,” the Minister emphasized.
The next priority is improving the quality of customer service.
“Sales offices are the company’s calling card. It’s important to be attentive and involved with each customer, listening to all subscribers’ requests, including via social media.”
Speaking about the company’s prospects, the Minister emphasized that innovation and the pursuit for new business areas are key drivers of growth.
During the reporting period, subscriber bases for Internet access, television, service packages and video surveillance increased. The expansion of the fiber-optic communication lines, as well as modernization and development of services for individuals and businesses, continued. The average Internet access speed on the GPON network increased to 138,3 Mbps, while the average speed reached 115 Mbps.
Beltelecom participated in large-scale state projects, deepening cooperation in the areas of healthcare, education, agriculture.
“The company has the potential to meet all the performance targets of the 2026 business plan,” Aliaksandr Kenda emphasized.
At the end of the Board of Directors meeting Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky encouraged the company’s employees to work actively and keep up the pace!
